Financial Policy

Thinking in systems, acting like entrepreneurs
A Doing Community is privately funded through donations. We will not solicit nor accept any type of public funding. Because much of our work are experimental projects with a higher than normal risk of failure we strive to keep our costs as low as possible in order to minimize the financial loss due to a project's failure.

Donations

We strive to make financially supporting our impact groups as easy as possible by partnering with the Pensacola Community Action Network (PensacolaCAN). When an impact group forms, we will coordinate with PCAN to establish a sponsored project that will allow individuals and businesses to make tax exempt donations. This establishes an official legal relationship with PensacolaCAN serving as a project’s fiscal sponsor.
As a fiscal sponsor organization, PensacolaCAN allows projects, large or small, to begin raising money immediately by having a credible financial partner, known and trusted in our community. PensacolaCAN is a 501(c)(3) charitable organization which has supported projects raising over $200,000 since 2015.
To help offset the minimal costs of ADCServes, LLC, we accept very small donations on using . These donations are not tax deductible.

Event Tickets

We may sell tickets to our events and activities. The revenue is deposited into the ADCServes, LLC business banking account and used to cover the direct expenses of the activity. No revenue is used to pay personnel. Revenue in excess of expenses is maintained in the checking account and may be used to support other activities or impact groups.

Transparent Reporting

We post our on the first of the month.
Donations to and expenditures through PCAN are reported by PCAN and may not be available through ADCServes.
